Christmas Newsletter 2023!

Hello there, and welcome to our Christmas Newsletter!

As the year comes to an end, it’s time to reflect on the progress and exciting developments that have shaped IPercept’s journey over the last six months. I’d like to begin by expressing my heartfelt thanks to all of our customers and missionaries. You’ve played a key role in our mission of optimizing machine performance and improving resource efficiency. Our team is most excited to continue empowering you, and we are looking forward to the positive impact we can make together.

2023 was a big year for us in Sweden. We became the first startup to have most of Sweden’s largest manufacturers as customers. We also made progress with our first global deployments and plan to expand further next year. We also entered an exciting new market – the aerospace industry, where metal working machines are the core in value creation. The positive feedback from our customers shows we’re making a difference.

In this newsletter, you’ll find information about new features we’re adding to our solutions and some of the awards we’ve won at IPercept. None of this would be possible without our fantastic team. I want to give a special welcome to all our new colleagues – next year will also be amazing!

So, from everyone at IPercept, including our board and advisors, we wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

/ Karoly Szipka, CEO

Reflecting on the Techarenan Challenge 2023

One of the highlights of this year was our participation and success in the Techarenan Challenge 2023, a prominent event that showcases the most innovative and promising startups in the Nordics.

The Techarenan Challenge took place at the Almedalen Week in June, a key forum for Swedish politics and society. We were among 30 selected startups that presented our solutions to a panel of experts and a large audience. Our CEO, Karoly Szipka, explained our vision and our award-winning products, which use a unique blend of data science and machine domain knowledge to create smart and interactive solutions for various industries.

We received the Industrial Award, which recognizes the startup that has the most potential to transform and improve the industrial sector. The award was presented by Tom Erixon, President and CEO of Alfa Laval. We appreciate his and the jury members’ recognition, who represented some of the leading companies in the Swedish industrial landscape, such as Hitachi Energy, Electrolux Group, AFRY, Scania Group, and Combitech Sverige.

Our Year in Pictures:

Capturing Our Brightest Moments

We were honored to welcome the German Ambassador in Sweden, Dr. Joachim Bertele, to our office. We enjoyed a delightful chat, discussing our company, our team members, and the solutions we offer.
We moved into a new and spacious office, and we celebrated with a fun and festive IPercept & Friends party.
Karoly Szipka participated in the Deep Tech Alliance 2023, a network of leading deep tech companies and investors. During this event, he was part of a panel discussion where he shared insights with the deep tech community about our ongoing collaboration with Bosch.
We had a nice visit from Marcus Vallgren and Katarzyna Lipinska from the Scania Group, who dropped by our office and learned more about our solutions. Following this, we participated in an event jointly organized by KTH Innovation and the Scania Group, where we got the chance to present how we started up our joint work with the amazing Scania team.
